I'm Jem, a passionate dog enthusiast and the proud owner of a small yet thriving Dog Walking and Wedding Chaperone business and my two dogs are Dillon and Gigi. My passion has always been hiking and exploring with my dogs.  I understand the value of a dog in a person’s life; a dog is not only a pet but a member of the family, which is why it’s extremely important to pick the right walker for your dog. 

 

After working for another dog walking company, I decided to go it alone. I started JDog Walks because I wanted to provide my local areas with a reliable, trustworthy and highly professional answer to dog care.

 

What sets me apart from larger companies is that it’s just me! Meaning it will always be me walking your dog, this will enable me and your dog to build a unique bond where I can learn all about their little quirks. I believe being a dog walker is more than just walking, I aim to build lasting relationships, stimulate their minds and help with training!

 

At JDog Walks I provide a fun, friendly and professional service for owners who want their dog to be walked by someone who loves and understands their dog like they do! Each dog is different, and it is crucial to build a solid relationship with each to ensure their safety and happiness. 

 

My work with dogs has enabled me to develop a strong skill-set and knowledge of all different types of dogs, their body language, training, nutrition and behaviour. Continuing to develop my ever-growing knowledge of canine behaviour is important to me. I regularly attend workshops and seminars that develop my practical skills in the canine care industry.
